Virtual MIDI keyboard

Hi everyone and thanks, Sven for creating this!

I briefly tested MK2K and wondered if it only supported physical midi controllers or if it would be possible to use a digital one.
To give you an example: Most DAWs have their own midi key emulator which sends midi events directly to a track. Would it be possible to intercept those events to fire actions?

I am not sure what the benefits of a virtual MIDI keyboard would be.
Anyway: If there is a software, a virtual MIDI keyboard that registeres in WIndows as a MIDI-device, it xould be used as an input device for MK2K.
